The Breaking Bad poster uses the title of the show as the one piece of text on the whole image. The font of the text is basic but also includes chemistry symbols which relates to the plot of the show. This choice draws in a larger audience as it makes them curious as to why this font choice has been made. It uses one main image which is half of both of the main characters faces. By doing this, the poster introduces us to the stars, while creating mystery and intruige. Both of the mens expressions add to this intruige as they have very serious looks on their faces. As well as this, they are both making direct address with the camera which creates an intimidating yet personal feeling for the audience. The colour scheme is very simple, using only yellow, green, black and white. These minimal colours make the cover look very cohesive and not overwhelming. These colours are not stereotypically for a specific gender, but they may attract a more male audience since they are quite dull. Additionally, the poster only showcases male characters so less females will be drawn to watch it. This poster would likely attract an older audience of 18-30, especially since this is the age rating for the programme.
